Treatment of arterial hypertension. Prevention of cardiovascular diseases: reduction of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in patients with: - pronounced cardiovascular disease of atherothrombotic origin (presence of coronary heart disease or stroke or peripheral vascular disease in the anamnesis); - diabetes, who have at least one cardiovascular risk factor. Treatment of kidney disease: - initial glomerular diabetic nephropathy, which is evidenced by the presence of microalbuminuria; - pronounced glomerular diabetic nephropathy, which is evidenced by the presence of macro proteinuria, in patients who have at least one cardiovascular risk factor; - pronounced glomerular non-diabetic nephropathy, which is evidenced by the presence of macro proteinuria ≥ 3 g/day. Treatment of heart failure, which is accompanied by clinical manifestations. Secondary prevention after acute myocardial infarction: reduction of mortality during the acute stage of myocardial infarction in patients with clinical signs of heart failure, provided that treatment is started more than 48 hours after the onset of acute myocardial infarction.
