230 Chances for Life: Donor Day at Darnytsia

Yesterday, Darnytsia held its Donor Day — an initiative that has traditionally united employees around an important social mission. 77 colleagues took part in the event, donating a total of 35 liters of blood. This amount is enough to potentially save the lives of more than 230 people.

Blood donation is especially vital during times of war, when the need for blood increases dramatically and shortages are felt more acutely than ever. In such times, every donation becomes critically important.

As part of Donor Day, a special donor video manifesto was recorded, in which employees shared their reasons and motivations for participating in the company’s donor movement. The video is already available to watch and will become part of the company’s communications aimed at promoting a culture of donation.

“I know that today someone urgently needs blood,” “I know that a single donation can save up to three lives,” “I can’t meet the need alone, but I can make my contribution,” “Because caring is what we do”— these are some of the motivations shared by our colleagues.

This initiative once again proved that blood donation is an integral part of Darnytsia’s corporate culture and a vivid display of the company’s values — people-centricity and conscious responsibility.
