"Darnitsa" helps Ukrainians to overcome post-covid syndrome

The pharmaceutical company "Darnitsa" gathers and analyzes international experience and research regarding post-covid syndrome and distributes this information in a format convenient for a wide audience to help Ukrainians overcome the aftereffects of COVID-19. According to the results of the Gradus Research* study, about 80% of those who got over COVID-19 have side effects from the disease even a few months after recovery. 

As defined by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence of the United Kingdom, post-covid syndrome is a state of health when a well-being person feels symptoms of an illness or complications from different organ systems and three months after the onset of the disease. About 12% of people with post-covid syndrome seek information about it online, and some do not even understand what is happening to their body.

In particular, a recent study conducted by Gradus Research, made to order by Darnitsa, showed that the most common symptoms experienced by COVID-19 patients after recovery were weakness (59%), fast fatigability (55%) and fatigue without exertion (46%). Most often, the syndrome affects the nervous system, the psycho-emotional state and the respiratory system.

This is confirmed by the participants of the media special projects «Darnitsa» with the involvement of well-known bloggers, representatives of show business and well-known entrepreneurs on the websites of Nash Kyiv and MC Today. The materials combine real stories of Ukrainian celebrities about their experience of COVID-19 and post-covid syndrome and advice from a pulmonologist, neurologist, psychiatrist regarding how to recover from the effects of the disease.
