Darnitsa Gives Medicines to the Ukrainian Military

Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company gives basic medicinal products to the Ukrainian military. Thus, in 2020-2021, medicines manufactured by Darnitsa were received free of charge by military units, Lviv Military Medical Clinical Center and the Central Clinical Hospital of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. This aid became a part of the charitable movement of the company #DarnitsaHelps, which is gaining momentum every year.

The support for the military is Darnitsa’s contribution to the country’s national security, which is more important than ever amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 35 ths. servicemen have had the coronavirus.

“The army, just like the pharmaceutical industry, is an integral part of the national security. The military stand guard over our country, and we take care of their health by providing military units and hospitals with quality and effective medicines of domestic production,” says Andrii Obrizan, General Director of Darnitsa.

As part of #DarnitsaHelps charity movement, the company supports not only military units and hospitals, but also charitable foundations and civilian hospitals. In 2021, Darnitsa donated more than UAH 22.5 million in money and medicines to more than 60 different organizations. Not only the company in general, but also employees in particular join the charity, transferring funds from their own salaries for good deeds.
