Darnytsia continues helping residents of Kherson region
The pharmaceutical company “Darnytsia” delivered medicines and humanitarian aid to the Kherson region for the victims of the consequences of the Kakhovska HPP dam explosion caused by the occupiers.
Darnytsia’s humanitarian shipment of medicines worth almost 300,000 hryvnias has already been delivered to Kherson hospitals. The list of drugs was created at the request of local health care institutions. It contains anti-colds, medicines against infectious and cardiac diseases.
In turn, Darnytsia’s team collected and handed over what the victims needed - food, blankets, clothes for women, men, teenagers and children, hygiene items, animal feed, wheelbarrows, rubber boots, canisters, ropes, shovels, bags , extension cords.
“Corporate culture is tested for authenticity when we face a challenge, a threat. The events that happened at the Kakhovska HPP require our unity and joint efforts to overcome the consequences. This is the moment when we show the strength of our team, standing shoulder to shoulder. We are united by a common desire to defeat the enemy and help the victims,” said Olena Sokolova, director of personnel management.
The humanitarian aid was handed over to PCO Zhyva (Public Charitable Organization), which received the cargo in Kherson. They are to ensure that these items reach those who really need help.
It was in the first days of the disaster, when Darnytsia joined in the initiative to help Kherson region from Ukrainian businesses and transferred 2 million hryvnias for means for evacuating the victims.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, “Darnytsia” has donated 2.6 million packages of medicines worth almost 230 million hryvnias for charitable purposes.
