Darnitsa Attended the Largest Medical Exhibition of Africa and Middle East “Arab Health 2022”
Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company participated in Arab Health 2022 – the leading healthcare exhibition of the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) – as an exhibitor. The offline part of the event was held on January 24-27 in the World Trade Center in Dubai. The online conference will last till February 28.
This year’s Arab Health is another manifestation of the resumption of the world trade and international cooperation amid the pandemic. The first stage of the event was held in the traditional format and brought together more than 3,500 companies-manufacturers of medicines, medical equipment and consumer goods, developers of IT solutions and infrastructure projects, specialists in diagnostic systems, etc. In total, exhibitors from 62 countries took part in the exhibition.
Companies participating in Arab Health 2022 had the opportunity to present their products, enter into new business agreements, learn about innovations and the latest trends in healthcare. Darnitsa took advantage of this opportunity: it gathered about 100 new contacts, which open up opportunities for cooperation with, among others, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Algeria and other countries in the Arab world and Africa. Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Oleksandr Komarida, who was present at the exhibition, also facilitated the establishment of a dialogue with foreign manufacturers.
“We are very interested in developing the export of Darnitsa products to the MENA countries. This is an extremely wide market with fair competition and predictable demands, and we are convinced that high-quality and affordable medicines made in Ukraine will find their niche here. This year’s Arab Health exhibition was a great opportunity to find the necessary new contacts, as well as to restore the old ones, which were lost due to the pandemic,” said Iryna Radchenko, Director of Darnitsa’s Export Department.
Darnitsa currently exports its pharmaceuticals to 15 countries in the EU, the CIS, the Middle East and Eastern Asia. The wide range of quality drugs in the company’s portfolio makes Darnitsa a potential partner for many foreign companies working in the field of healthcare. During the offline stage of Arab Health 2022, the company’s stand was visited by dozens of representatives of pharmaceutical companies of the MENA region and other countries, Darnitsa submitted 5 bids and received purchase requests for drugs and contract production at the company’s facilities.
