Darnytsia Cares About Health, Language, and National Identity

That’s why today, on the Day of Ukrainian Written Language, we join the country’s celebrations and share interesting facts about our language.
Ukrainian is one of the most melodious languages in the world. It is often compared to Italian or Spanish—and for good reason, as every sound harmoniously weaves into the song of the nation. Our language has over 250,000 words. This is true wealth, allowing us to express dreams, ideas, and even the warmest confessions.
By the way, the most common letter in Ukrainian is "p", and perhaps it’s no coincidence that the word "peremoga" (victory) echoes so strongly in the hearts of millions.
Preserving and multiplying this heritage is our shared task. That’s why Darnytsia invests in quality education, spreads modern knowledge, and supports large-scale projects.
We cooperate with leading universities, provide professor scholarships, help save historical monuments, and year after year join the world’s largest language marathon—the International Competition of Ukrainian Language Experts named after Petro Yatsyk.
This competition is more than just an intellectual contest. Every year, over 5 million children, students, teachers and adults from 30 countries unite around the Ukrainian language. New names in science, culture and media are born here.
Our team joins the writing of the national radio dictation every year on the Day of Ukrainian Written Language to feel the power of unity, check our literacy, honor the native word, and show love for Ukrainian together with the whole country.
