Darnytsia Opens a New Page in International Cooperation: First Shipment of Medicines to Libya
Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company has completed its first shipment of 13 types of medicinal products to Libya. The delivery includes drugs of various classes—pain relievers, antibiotics, anti-allergy medicines, and other pharmaceuticals.
This situation was made possible thanks to the company’s successful completion of the official inspection by the Ministry of Health of Libya. Specialists from the Libyan delegation visited the production facilities in Kyiv, conducted a thorough inspection of manufacturing areas, the quality assurance system, documentation, and compliance with international Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Based on the results of the audit, Darnytsia fully confirmed its compliance with GMP requirements and received high marks from the Libyan regulator.
“For us, this is more than just another shipment. It is recognition that Ukrainian medicines meet the highest international standards and can save lives even thousands of kilometers from Ukraine. We are proud that our support crosses borders and is already contributing to the health of people in Libya. And we are not stopping here—our team is already planning to sign new agreements with Libyan partners, while obtaining Libya’s GMP certificate will open even broader horizons for exporting the entire Darnytsia portfolio,” emphasized Hurgan Karapetyan, Director of Export and Hospital Sales at Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company.
Darnytsia continues to be a reliable partner for the international medical community and confidently demonstrates that Ukrainian quality is worthy of trust around the world.
