Darnytsia Team Traditionally Joined the Donor Movement

A Donor Day was held at Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company.

 Seventy-seven employees took part in the drive; each donated 450 ml of blood, for a total of 35 liters.

This year’s event was already Darnytsia’s third Donor Day — in January 70 employees and in April 55 employees collected nearly 60 liters of blood.

 The donor movement at Darnytsia has deep roots: the company’s first internal initiative took place in 1987.

Since then, more than 1,200 employees have donated over 600 liters of blood, contributing to saving lives both in peacetime and during the war.

 Donation events at Darnytsia are organized in partnership with the Kyiv City Blood Center: a mobile unit operates on the company’s premises, so donations take place without employees having to leave work.

“Each donor can save up to three people. Therefore, today’s initiative potentially gives a chance of life to more than 230 people,” emphasized Olga Lysenko, physician‑therapist at Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company.
