Darnitsa’s Export Department Headed by Anna Makarova from Abbott EPD

The Export Department of Pharmaceutical Firm “Darnitsa” has been headed by Anna Makarova. Anna Makarova came to Darnitsa from Abbott EPD, where she was the Manager for Turkey, CIS countries and Israel.

Anna Makarova has 13 years of experience working at such multinational companies as Abbott EPD, Teva and Boehringer Ingelheim. During this period, she has accumulated competencies in the areas of strategic marketing, new product launch management, geography and representation portfolio expansion, global brand sales management.

Commenting on the appointment of Anna Makarova to the position of the Director of the Export Department, Andrii Obrizan, General Director of Pharmaceutical Firm “Darnitsa”, emphasized that executives who were able to introduce changes and ensure the company’s transformation into an international brand came to Darnitsa. Anna’s experience in launching products in new markets and deep expertise in expanding geography and portfolio will contribute to the principal goal which is transforming Darnitsa into an international company.

Anna Makarova has experience of project implementation in emerging markets (CIS, Mediterranean countries, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America regions). She believes that Darnitsa has the necessary prerequisites to enter the international arena, to become recognizable in foreign markets and to join the club of successful players in the pharmaceutical market. The company digitizes its business processes, improves production and quality control system in accordance with EU GMP requirements, focuses on modern complex generics.

Anna has a degree in pharmacy obtained at Zaporizhzhia State University and a degree in business administration.
