During the Full-Scale War, Darnytsia Launched 44 New Medicines On the Market

During the full-scale war, Darnytsia launched 44 new medicines on the market. 

For example, 19 new drugs were launched in 2022, 11 in 2023, and 14 in 2024.

As a national pharmaceutical manufacturer, Darnytsia, producing drugs, focuses on the issues that are topical for Ukrainians. 

In particular, in 2022, immediately responding to external threats, a drug for the prevention of thyroid diseases during nuclear accidents to prevent radiation exposure - “Potassium Iodide-125- Darnytsia” - was released in 2022. 

10.7 million doses of this drug were given free of charge to the state to protect the population from potential radiation contamination. The company also marketed drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and assistance in severe injuries.

During 2023 and 2024, antiepileptic drugs, antihypertensive agents used to lower high blood pressure, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs, mucolytic agents, systemic antimicrobial drugs, analgesics, antidepressants, corticosteroids, medications for allergies, throat and oral diseases, and many others were launched to the market.

Among the drugs launched on the market there are both original and generic drugs.

Recall that generic medicines have the same active substance and in the same quantity as the original innovative medicines and are not inferior to them in terms of efficacy and safety.

Due to the high quality standards of production and compliance with European GMP requirements, Darnytsia's medicines are available in more than 20 countries around the world. 

At the same time, the leader of pharmaceutical production, realizing its social responsibility, did not increase the prices of medicines during the full-scale war, and from February 25, 2025, reduced the prices of the 20 most popular medicines by 30%.
