Hanna Demchenko headed the Financial Department of the Pharmaceutical Company “Darnitsa”

Hanna Demchenko, who had been a successful financial manager in international companies in Ukraine and abroad for more than 20 years, became the Financial Director of the Pharmaceutical Company “Darnitsa”.

In 1997 - 2017 Hanna Demchenko rose from an accountant to the head of various financial departments in the American multinational company Procter & Gamble.

Over the two years from 2017 to 2019, Hanna headed the Financial Department in the Insurance Company UNIQA in Poland, where she also served as a Vice president of the Board.

Hanna has already had the pharmaceutical industry experience, as she was the Financial Director in Roche Ukraine, a division of the Swiss pharmaceutical company that produces biotechnological drugs for oncology and virology, where, in 2019 - 2022, being the Financial Director, she also was the head the Logistics Department, Customers Service, and Purchasing department. Anna also held the position of Health and Environmental Safety Officer.

With the beginning of the war, she became a volunteer and a member of management board of the Yellow Blue Force Foundation, which was established in March 2022 to assist local communities, emergency services, doctors and civil services that take care of people in humanitarian disaster areas, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military administrations.

She obtained a higher economic education at the Kyiv National University of Economics, but did not stop there and continued to improve her qualifications at foreign educational institutions. She obtained an EMBA at the Warsaw Business School and completed numerous specialized training programs, at the International Institute of IMI Management in Switzerland, in particular.

“Pharmaceuticals is an extremely important industry today, and, undoubtedly, a part of the country’s national security. I am sure that my experience and international expertise will be an important contribution to the further development of Darnitsa”, Hanna Demchenko said.
