The Darnytsia Team Once Again Joined the Donor Movement

On August 17, 2023, the team of the pharmaceutical company 'Darnytsia' joined the donor movement by donating almost 23 liters of blood.

Donor movement in 'Darnytsia' has a long history, because caring about people is the highest value of the company.

In fact, the donor movement in 'Darnytsia' began in 1987. During 36 years, more than 1,100 employees have joined it, thus in total donating more than 450 liters of blood.

Today, there are about 50 permanent donors among the company’s employees; they have experience of constant blood donation for 5-10 years, and some –  for 20 years.

In the realities of the ongoing war, Ukrainians in the rear are doing everything possible to save the lives of our defenders. At the same time, we should not forget about the needs of civilians who become victims of rocket attacks and artillery strikes - they all need donor’s blood. Patients in maternity hospitals and intensive care units need blood too. Meanwhile, one donor can save three lives by spending only 15 minutes of his time.

“Once again we did a great good thing together. Donor Days have become our traditional charity event, which unites compassionate colleagues and brings invaluable benefits to Ukraine, especially now. We believe in Victory and thank everyone for their conscious attitude and desire to help,” commented Olha Lysenko, a therapist at the pharmaceutical company 'Darnytsia'.
