Oleksandr Torhun Joined Darnitsa’s Team

Since April 1, the position of the Regulatory Affairs Director at Darnitsa has been held by Oleksandr Torhun. In this position Oleksandr will deal with the analysis of regulatory requirements in the domestic and foreign markets.

I am confident that together we can succeed,” Oleksandr Torhun noted.

Oleksanr Torhun has more than 20 years of experience of interaction with the healthcare system. He used to work as a neurological surgeon, developed training systems, held administrative positions of an expert and head of the department at a regulatory expert state enterprise of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and medical director of a pharmaceutical company. In 2014-2015 he was the authorized expert representing the World Health Organization in matters of requalification of medicines in the territory of Ukraine. In 2015-2017 he was an expert of the working group for improvement of legislation of the Ministry of Health. He is a co-founder and director of the company creating digital solutions in the area of drug safety.

Apart from the professional medical education, Oleksandr graduated from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine and earned the MBA degree at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
