Legal Department of Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company Headed by Olena Zubchenko

The Director of the Legal Department of Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company is now Olena Zubchenko. For the last year, she worked as an international law lawyer in London.

“Pharmaceutics is an important field, today we feel this better than ever. I am sure that my experience and international expertise will become an important contribution to the future development of Darnitsa,” Olena Zubchenko noted.

The professional experience of Olena Zubchenko amounts to 15 years, of which more than 10 years in managerial positions at international and Ukrainian companies. Olena was an expert representing the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in the dispute between Ukraine and Russia in respect of the Eurobond for the amount of USD 3 billion considered by the High Court of London in the United Kingdom.

In 2010-2017 she worked at Lavrynovych and Partners Law Firm, where she made the way from senior lawyer to partner. She practiced law in the area of banking and financial law, real estate and construction, land and agricultural law. From May 2017 to August 2019 she worked in the managerial legal position in the area of international law at PrivatBank CB JSC. With Olena’s participation, a number of litigations were successfully initiated and held in various jurisdictions, namely in respect of the compensation by Russia for losses resulting from the annexation of Crimea in the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague.

Olena graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, earned the degree of Master of Law. She engaged in scientific work and teaching. She is the author of legal papers and publications.
