Screening scale for the detection of post-traumatic stress disorders in primary care according to DSM-5 (PC-PTSD-5)

  • The PC-PTSD-5 Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Screening Inventory for Primary Care is a tool designed to identify individuals with possible posttraumatic stress disorder.

    Sometimes people experience unusual or particularly frightening, traumatizing events.

    For example:

    • war;
    • serious accident or fire;
    • physical or sexual assault or violence;
    • earthquake or flood;
    • seeing someone killed or seriously injured;
    • death of a loved one due to murder or suicide.
