Darnytsia Presented a Christmas Video
As a follow-up to ‘This is Ours’ communication campaign, Pharmaceutical Company ‘Darnytsia’ presented a Christmas video.
The video is composed of the episodes of life of Ukrainians on the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays during the Great War.
In one of the scenes, a pharmacist warms a worker working on the street with a cup of hot tea, decorating the pharmacy building with a festive illumination.
Another scene shows a grandmother and her granddaughter cooking a kutia for Christmas Eve, and the girl’s mother filming this incredible event.
Another episode shows a dad reading a book to his kids in the darkness caused by another blackout.
There are certainly our defenders in the video, one of whom receives socks knitted by his grandmother and he is happy to share his grandmother’s gift with his brothers-in-arms.
The final scene of the video shows an already festively decorated pharmacy from the initial episode. There is a didukh, a primordial symbol of Ukrainian Christmas, in the showcase. It is snowing Christmas snowflakes on the street, and the mother is explaining to her little daughter how important it is to preserve what makes us who we are— our traditions, kindness, sincerity, mutual assistance, self-esteem, desire for freedom, and love for our Motherland.
‘This video is about our Ukrainian ability to see the light in the darkest times, believe in the victory of good over evil, and appreciate what is our own, native, Ukrainian. After all, it is about true love. Because Ukraine is love’, Vasyl Hubarets, Corporate Communications Director at Pharmaceutical Company ‘Darnytsia’, says.
