Darnytsia Develops Ethical Communication Guide for Its Team with Support from Veteran Hub

Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company, with the support of Veteran Hub, has created an Ethical Communication Guide for its employees, based on the principles of equality, inclusivity, and diversity.

One of the company’s core values is humanity. This value underpins Darnytsia’s Ethical Communication Guide and is practically implemented in various ways.

Firstly, Darnytsia treats every employee as a unique individual. The team is attentive to the needs of others, values equal rights and diverse perspectives, and invests in people’s development as an integral part of the company’s success.

Secondly, Darnytsia has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of discrimination, whether based on age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, social background, physical condition, or ethnicity.

Thirdly, Darnytsia is a veteran-friendly business. As a socially responsible company, it recognises the importance of integrating veterans into civilian life, which led to the launch of the OUR STRONG programme.

This initiative aims to honour those who defend and have defended our country and to provide comprehensive support for veterans as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. This is essential not only from an ethical perspective but also as a driver of economic growth and social stability in the country.

The Ethical Communication Guide establishes the foundations for communicating with diverse individuals, including those with combat experience, as well as veterans who have sustained injuries resulting in amputations or prosthetics. It also offers guidance on how to interact respectfully with people of different ages, genders, marital statuses, religions, and ethnicities.

“For us at Darnytsia, it’s crucial that everyone feels valued and supported, in an environment of respect and equality. The Ethical Communication Guide serves as a compass, helping us embrace diversity, respect everyone’s rights, and strengthen our team. It’s a demonstration of our values in action, fostering open communication and mutual development,” says Olha Sikorska, Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities at Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company.

“At Veteran Hub, we often say that there are no special rules for communicating with veterans or their families. However, after years of war, certain phrases have become personal triggers for many of us.
The Ethical Communication Guide developed by Darnytsia is, above all, about responsibility and awareness. It is also a vital element in creating a workplace that is accessible and comfortable for everyone,” added Iryna Haluzinska, Praktyka Project Lead at Veteran Hub.
