Darnytsia Has Equipped a State-of-the-art Classroom for Students of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University
Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company has equipped a state-of-the-art educational classroom "Cardiopharmacology" at the Department of Pharmacology of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University.
This is one of the important steps taken by Darnytsia within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the country's leading higher educational institution which trains future doctors and pharmacists.
The educational classroom is unique. It successfully combines high educational technologies and modern interactive tools.
The main purpose of the classroom is to help students of medical and pharmaceutical education to better understand the effect of medicinal products for the most common cardiac diseases, as well as to form the skills of rational medicamental therapy based on modern clinical recommendations and principles of evidence-based medicine.
This will be facilitated, firstly, by the only holographic 3D projector in educational institutions of Ukraine, which, in particular, can demonstrate a three-dimensional image of the human heart and blood vessels. It fully reproduces not only anatomy, but also changes in the state of the body under the influence of medicines in real time.
Secondly, the classroom is equipped with interactive educational stands printed on a 3D printer. They illustrate the anatomical features of the heart and its conduction system, the mechanisms of blood pressure regulation, as well as the most common cardiac diseases and modern pharmacological strategies for their treatment.
Thirdly, the classroom is equipped with a multifunctional smart panel. Owing to a convenient software and the possibility of accessing the Internet, this solution opens up new opportunities in the educational process for teachers, medical and pharmaceutical students.
Fourthly, in order for students to become more familiar with the functioning of modern pharmaceutical production of medicines in Ukraine in accordance with the quality management system in pharmacy, a model of Darnytsia production facilities was reproduced in the classroom.
